What cables do I need (SDI/HDMI) and are they included?

Cables aren’t always included unless listed. We can supply the right length and type to match your signal standard and distance.

Does this monitor support SDI/HDMI and LUTs?

Inputs/features vary by model. Check the specs for SDI/HDMI versions, LUT support and HDR/brightness requirements.

What internet do I need for live streaming?

For reliable streaming, a stable uplink is essential. As a guide, aim for at least 10–20 Mbps upload for 1080p (more is better) and avoid congested Wi‑Fi.

Can you help me configure SDI/HDMI converters and routing?

Yes—tell us your source devices and destinations. We’ll recommend the correct converters/cables and help you plan a reliable signal path.

Do you include lens hoods, caps and cases?

Yes—lenses are supplied with essential caps/protection and any listed accessories. Please return all caps/filters/cases to avoid replacement fees.

Do I need sandbags with stands?

For safety, yes—especially outdoors or with larger modifiers. We recommend sandbags for stability and can supply them as add‑ons.

How do I know if this lens fits my camera?

Should I back up footage during the job?

Yes—always. For critical shoots, use dual recording where possible and back up to a second drive during or immediately after.

Do you include media (SD cards/SSDs) with camera or recorder hires?

Media is not always included. If you need SD cards or SSD recording media, we can supply approved options to suit the device and bitrate.

What power do I need for this light?

Lighting power draw varies by fixture and output. Check the specs and ensure your circuit can handle the load—especially when running multiple lights.

Will wireless microphones work at my venue?

Wireless performance depends on RF conditions. If you share your location and other wireless gear on-site, we can advise on best practice and frequency planning.

Do you provide batteries with wireless audio gear?

Where applicable we include the required batteries for operation. For long events, we recommend spares; we can supply extras on request.

Are your power leads and boards tested and tagged?

Yes—our hire power accessories are assembled, tested and tagged by licensed electricians where applicable. Always use within rated limits and protected circuits.

What do you need from me to hire equipment?

Do you offer delivery and setup?

How long is a “day hire” and can I hire longer?
